Program Coordinator – Camps

Valentina Vivas

About me

Born and raised in Colombia in a beautiful and loving family of four. Valentina is the oldest sister who has always had a passion for sports. She grew up playing soccer and riding horses while also participating in other sports like basketball and volleyball with her school teams. Throughout high school, Valentina became a part of the Bogotá League and represented her city in national tournaments multiple times. In 2017, the opportunity led her to join the Colombian national team, where she competed in multiple international tournaments, including the South American Games, which served as qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France. In 2019, she was recruited by Fresno State, where she became a Bulldog for the next five years while pursuing a double major in Psychology and Criminology with a minor in German. After graduating, Valentina connected with Jesus Garcia, whose vision for High Performance Academy (HPA) deeply inspired her. Initially joining as an intern, her role grew rapidly and within six months, she was promoted to Camp Coordinator. Now, Valentina oversees HPA’s Camps Department, where she gets to combine her love for sports with meaningful work—while having an amazing time! At the same time, Valentina is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology, continuing her journey of blending academics with athletics.
